A great way to start an evening filled with chamber music! Musical Expert Steven Lowe presents a 45-minute pre-concert lecture on the programs for our Summer Festival on the Eastside, using recorded musical examples to touch on lesser-known works. Enjoy Steve’s lecture while dining, then catch the pre-concert recital at 7:00 PM, or take some time to relax before attending the main concert at 8:00 PM.

ABOUT STEVEN LOWE

Steven Lowe is the program notes writer for Seattle Chamber Music Society. The former Public Information Specialist for Seattle Symphony, he is a popular lecturer and instructor in classical music history for numerous arts, educational, and community organizations. Steve has also contributed to musical journals including High Fidelity/Musical America, Stereo Quarterly, Keynote and Classical magazines, and has written for The Los Angeles Times.
