Jewish Voices combines a 60 minute Holocaust-inspired recital with a brief personal and educational discussion based on Sussmann’s grandfather’s survival of Auschwitz-Birkenau. The program features works by Jewish composers whose lives were directly impacted by the war, including Erwin Schulhoff, Robert Dauber, Pavel Haas, Samuel Adler, and Mieczysław Weinberg.
