Our brand new Center for Chamber Music features an intimate, cozy and inviting space we call the “Living Room.” Come early, have a glass of wine (or two!) and enjoy chamber music the way it was meant to be heard.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Proclaimed “a phenomenon” by the Los Angeles Times and “one of the best pianists of his generation” by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Stewart Goodyear has performed with, and has been commissioned by, many of the major orchestras and chamber music organizations around the world.
In 1819, publisher and composer Anton Diabelli invited 50 composers to write a variation on his recently composed waltz theme with the intention of publishing a complete set of theme and variations featuring a variety of composers. Beethoven eagerly accepted the invitation, but rather than compose one variation, he created 33. Hailed as one of the greatest sets of variations of all time, come hear the brilliant Diabelli Variations live at the Center for Chamber Music, performed by internationally renowned pianist Stewart Goodyear.
