Tessa Lark

Present

Recipient of the 2016 Avery Fisher Career Grant, Silver Medalist of the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis, and winner of the 2012 Naumburg International Violin Competition, Tessa Lark has been invited to many summer festivals including Marlboro, Yellow Barn, Steans Institute for Young Artists at the Ravinia Festival, and Music@Menlo, and she is a member of the Caramoor Virtusoi. Lark has been a soloist with the Cincinnati, New Haven, Hawaii, Santa Fe, and Indianapolis symphony orchestras. Lark regularly performs and programs bluegrass and Appalachian music, premiering her own piece as part of a Carnegie Hall recital. She is a graduate of New England Conservatory and is in Juilliard’s Artist Diploma program. Lark plays the 1683 ex-Gingold Stradivari violin on generous loan from the Josef Gingold Fund for the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis.
