The First Prize winner of the under 17 piano category of the 2018 Montreal Symphony Orchestra Manulife Competition, Henry From has been named by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation as among CBC’s 30 Hot Canadian Classical Musicians Under 30 for 2019. Henry’s Piano Trio, Trio Savyon, has performed in Boston, Warsaw, Calgary, in Israel, and at the Rockport Chamber Music Festival. Henry is an enthusiastic composer of chamber and orchestral music. His orchestral piece, Isle of Pic, premieres with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra in January 2020. Henry’s current teachers include Sandra Payton, Amanda Chan, and Edward Top.
