Since 1982, the Seattle Chamber Music Society (SCMS) has been a cornerstone of Seattle’s classical music scene, presenting world-class performances and enriching the community with its mission to make high-quality chamber music accessible to all. Beginning in 2021, SCMS expanded into a year-round presenter of chamber music in Seattle. In addition to the Summer and Winter Festivals, SCMS presents the Signature Series in the elegant Nordstrom Recital Hall, concerts in the intimate 70-seat Center for Chamber Music, and Crescendo Concerts hosted in some of Seattle’s most beautiful homes. These venues, including the cultural landmark Benaroya Hall, provide audiences with a rich and varied experience throughout the year. Through its Virtual Concert Hall, SCMS also brings world-class performances to music lovers beyond Seattle, ensuring access to exceptional chamber music year-round.
Community Engagement Through Music
