Jeewon Park //

Jeewon Park made her debut at the age of 12 performing Chopin’s First Piano Concerto with the Korean Symphony Orchestra, and has since performed at Weill Recital Hall, Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, Merkin Hall, 92nd Street Y, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Kravis Center, and the Seoul Arts Center in Korea.  An avid chamber musician, she frequently performs at the Caramoor International Music Festival and at Spoleto USA, the Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival, the Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival, the Appalachian Summer Festival, the Central Vermont Chamber Music Festival, the Taos Summer Music Festival, the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, the Emilia-Romagna Festival (Italy), the Music Alp in Courchevel (France), and the Kusatsu Summer Music Festival (Japan). She is regularly invited to collaborate with the members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble, and has performed with members of the Guarneri, Juilliard, Brentano, Tokyo, Fine Arts, and Miami Quartets. Solo performances have included concerto appearances with Charleston (SC), Mexico City, Monterrey and Mexico State Symphonies. She is in demand in her native Korea, performing recitals and chamber music concerts at major venues, and concertos with the KBS Symphony and Korean Symphony Orchestras. Ms. Park graduated from The Juilliard School and Yale University, and she holds the DMA degree from SUNY Stony Brook. Her teachers include Young-Ho Kim, Herbert Stessin, Claude Frank, and Gil Kalish.
