Music Under The Stars — Free
Bring a picnic, stretch out on the lawn, and enjoy a live audio broadcast of each of our Summer Festival concerts, provided directly to neighborhood parks by KING-FM. Each evening begins at 7:15pm (7:00pm at Freeway Park) with live chamber music performed by an outstanding student ensemble, and continues at 8:00pm with KING-FMs live broadcast, direct from Benaroya.

Chamber Music in the Park – Wednesday, July 27, 7:00pm — Free
As part of our Summer Festival, we offer a free outdoor concert at Volunteer Park featuring Festival artists. Come enjoy a beautiful Seattle summer evening with thrilling music and fun activities for the whole family. This popular event is perfect for music lovers of all ages!
These concerts feature some of the greatest chamber music classics in a fun and inviting setting. Pack a picnic dinner, or stop by the food truck and order something right there, stretch out on the lawn at the park, and enjoy some beautiful music.
This summer, you will hear two iconic string octets:
String Octet in E-flat Major, Op. 20
Two Pieces for String Octet, Op. 11
At previous Chamber Music in the Park performances, several community partners have offered pre-concert family activities; partners include KING FM, Seattle Symphony, and Seattle Opera.
