"The Tale of Tam Lin, the Elf Knight"

with narrator, Marta Zekan

This Celtic tale of faery mischief, romance and enchantment has been charmingly captured in new music by composer Kara McGraw. With the help of four Seattle musicians (flute, cello, percussion and piano), KING FM's Marta Zekan tells the story of Tam Lin, a mortal turned into an elfin knight, the fair young maiden Janet who ventures into an enchanted woods, an army of fairy folk, the Elf Queen and her evil spells, and Janet's rescue of Tam Lin through her love, which breaks the spell and returns Tam Lin to a mortal.

This 45-minute concert will capture the imagination of young concertgoers and their parents and grandparents.

Musical instrument "petting zoo", courtesy of Music Center of the Northwest, in the lobby from 2:00pm.

Tickets just $8 general admission
