is currently Director of the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings at Mercer University, Georgia, and appears in solo and collaborative performances across the United States and abroad. Her New York concerto debut was in Carnegie Hall. Formerly concertmaster of the Oregon Symphony and Florida Orchestra, she will serve in 2009 as guest concertmaster of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, CityMusic Cleveland, and the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra. Ms. Moretti is frequently a guest at chamber music festivals, appearing in recent years at the Amelia Island, Aspen, Astoria, Brevard, Chamber Music Northwest, Madison, Olympic and Rome festivals. She is also Music Director of Portland Summer Ensembles. As soloist, she has been featured recently with the Omaha Symphony and Music Director Thomas Wilkins, and at the Brevard Music Center with Keith Lockhart conducting. Ms Moretti's Bachelor and Master of Music degrees are from the Cleveland Institute of Music where she studied with Donald Weilerstein, graduated valedictorian, and in 2005, was honored with the Alumni Achievement Award. She received fellowships from the Aspen Center for Advanced Quartet Studies, was invited to Isaac Stern's Chamber Music Workshop, and studied in the Intensive Quartet Seminars led by Peter Salaaf and the Cavani String Quartet. Earlier studies were with Zaven Melikian, Margaret Pardee, and Joanne Bath.
