has performed as soloist with many of the leading orchestras throughout the United States, and his solo recital tours have brought him to many of the major halls in North America, Europe, and Japan. Adam Neiman's upcoming 2009-10 season highlights include his debut with the Orchestra Verdi of Milan, a performance with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in Moscow, a tour of Slovenia as soloist with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, and a tour of New England with the Manchester Music Festival String Orchestra. In addition, he will perform as a recitalist in Washington D.C., Vancouver, and Chicago, and he will take part in prestigious festivals in Manchester, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and San Diego, as well as at the International Festival Cervantinos in Mexico and the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Calabria. Neiman has recorded for VAI Audio with a widely ranging discography; his next major release is for Naxos in June 2010 and will feature solo piano music by Anton Arensky. A two-time winner of The Juilliard School's Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, he is also the recipient of an Avery Fisher Career Grant, the Gilmore Young Artist Award, and the Michaels Award of YCA. His teachers have included Trula Whelan, Hans Boepple, and Herbert Stessin.
