Jeffrey Fair

joined the Seattle Symphony as Assistant Principal Horn in the fall of 2003. Prior to moving to Seattle he served as Principal Horn of the San Antonio Symphony for three seasons, appearing as soloist on several occasions. As a chamber musician he has won first prize at the Fischoff, Carmel, and New York Brass Conference national chamber music competitions. He has served on the faculty of the Eastern Music Festival in North Carolina and has also performed at the Arizona Music Festival. Additionally, Mr. Fair regularly appears throughout the Puget Sound region as soloist, chamber musician, clinician, and teacher. A native of Oklahoma, Mr. Fair received a Bachelor of Music degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Oklahoma and completed a Master of Music degree at The Juilliard School as a student of Jerome Ashby.
